Changing mental health can change a life! Waking up every day and going to work having to keep up appearances and fake wellness is exhausting.

 No one wants to talk about mental health issues at work. The fear of mental illness stigma and the possibility of negative consequences keeps people quiet. People with mental health issues who don’t talk about the issues don’t seek help. Issues go undetected, undiagnosed, and untreated. The risk of bigger problems down the line is much greater. Nevertheless, one of the best things people can do is talk about mental health issues! It can make the biggest difference if people have a conversation about mental health issues. Once had people are no longer alone.  

 HAVACHAT conversations is a facility to help people talk about mental health issues, reduce stigma and feel more comfortable with their everyday mental wellbeing. The conversations are simple conversations between people with possible mental health issues and people who have experienced mental health and have recovered. The people with experience of mental health listen responding with kind words, positive words that help people overcome the stigma and feel free. The conversations help people to make the first move to break open the fear and taboo of mental illness. The experience provides guidance for people to make the next steps.

 HAVACHAT conversations are safe! They are facilitated by professional people who have recovered from mental illness. The conversations are planned and usually face to face. Conversations are friendly, discreet and private. Confidentiality is protected by law.

 Once people have a conversation, they know that they don’t need to fake it any longer and that they do not need to be ashamed. People are better instantly – It is like a weight lifted. People can develop a plan to get help.
